Three People Remain In KEMH After Collision
A 18-year-old woman remains in stable condition in the ICU while another 18-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man are in stable condition on a general ward following the collision in Smith’s parish on Monday [March 12].
A police spokesperson said, “At last check this morning [March 14th] three of the six people hurt in Monday night’s single vehicle car crash – on Middle Road in Smith’s parish near the junction with Clarendon Road – continued to recover at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital.
“The 18 year old woman that was more seriously injured remains in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit while another 18 year old woman and a 19 year old man continued their recovery in stable condition on a general ward.
“All three teenagers were passengers in the vehicle.
“The 25 year old man arrested on suspicion of impaired driving regarding the crash has since been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
“Any witnesses that have not already come forward are still encouraged to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.”
